marble top raised above a frieze with tongue and dart border above a
pounced lattice panel and ribbon tied rods, centred with a lion mask suspending swags of oak
leaves and with shells and foliate scrolls with conforming sides and raised on bold leaf capped
broken square cabriole legs and terminating in claw and ball feet. 129 x 62.5 x 87 cms high

illustration of one of a pair of very similar tables,c.1740, supplied to Malahide Castle but with
lacquer tops and somewhat smaller.
