A ‘SEVRES’ OVAL BOAT SHAPED BOWL,
19TH CENTURY
the royal blue ground decorated with gilt spots and
painted with oval vignettes of birds in landscapes within
scroll borders, later marked with gilt metal liner and leaf
form twin handles, raised on an oval base with acorn feet.

A PAIR OF CHINESE EXPORT ‘MARIE
BERG’ VASES AND COVERS, C1780,
after the Swedish originals, the fitted covers with lotus
bud finials, over urn shaped bodies with gilt ‘pistol grip’
handles and tapering neck, over dipped spiral gilt panes
bordered by moulded bellflower swags, centred with oval
reserve, painted with butterflies, insects and flowers on
squared pedestal foot. 35cm high.
