62 AN IRISH EDWARDIAN SILVER TEA POT,

Dublin 1902, mark of Charles Lamb, in the Georgian Revival taste,

the hinged cover with cast swan finial, applied with ‘c’ scroll ebon

handle, the body chased and embossed with swan and fox motifs

contained within scrolling fruiting foliate designs, raised on lion

mask capped rope twist legs terminating in paw feet, (c.653g).

Sheffield 1953, mark of Viner’s Ltd, with Queen Elizabeth II

coronation mark, with wavy rim, plain central reserve and raised

on three short scrolling acanthus wrapped feet, (c.217g). 16cm

60 A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER CANDLESTICKS,

Sheffield 1791, maker’s mark of John Parsons & Co, the urn

shaped sockets fitted with detachable sconces with maker’s mark

of John Green, Roberts, Mosley & Co, over octagonal tapering

columns, raised on spreading circular base (weighted), the entire

decorated with bright cut engraving. (2)
