c.1800, mark possibly that of John Locker, with ‘S’ scroll handle,

the body with later all over repousse foliate decoration and

raised on pad feet, (c.155.5g). 15cm wide over hsndle and spout

Dublin c.1770, mark of William Townsend, of shaped circular

form with pie crust rim, crested with motto ‘Pro Virtute’, (c.765g).
