Raymond Mintz was a US born artist. He first showed his work
in New York in 1950 and soon after moved to France where he
worked and studied. Mintz and his wife came to Ireland in the late
60s and settled in Kerry. As time went on he became more and
more reclusive working in his studio at night. In his later life Mintz
developed a very personal technique depicting satirical genre
scenes.
