mark of Carden Terry and Jane Williams of Cork and struck

“STERLING”, with handle terminal engraved with crest. 17.3cm;

together with a Provincial bright cut engraved sugar nips, mark

of John Warner (fl.1775-1810) of Cork, also struck “STERLING”.

an Irish bright cut engraved silver tapering handle table spoon,

Dublin (no date letter), twice struck with mark of Jonas Osborne

(fl.1784-1809); another similar example with rubbed marks;

and a fiddle pattern sugar nips, Dublin marks, mark of Richard

Whitford (fl.1802-24);

together with two similar George III fiddle pattern butter knives,

London marks;

and a George III silver fish slice, London marks, the shaped blade

with bright cut and pierced salmon (c.11ozs in all) (6)
