Chester 1901, mark of George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, reeded

rim, the body profusely embossed overall with scrollwork and

flower heads, enclosing three cartouches, two monogrammed

and the other with crest and family motto “Nil Desperandum”,

raised on a plain stepped circular pedestal foot (c.22ozs). 26cm

diameter, 20cm high

twin ‘s’ scroll handles, the bell form body with girdle, and

Races Farmer’s Race, won by Bryan McCabe’s “Tipperary”

1914”, raised on circular spreading foot (c.31ozs). 28cm wide over

handles, 17.5cm high
