having inset Sévres style plaques, the clock with arched hood surmounted
by a twin handled urn with acorn finial, the hinged glazed door enclosing a
handpainted enamel dial with Roman numerals over a plaque depicting figures
and a dog in a garden landscape, on a shaped rectangular platform base and
lobed tapering disc supports, the garnitures of classical baluster form on squared
base, (with timber plinths and glass domed covers), Japy Freres mark to the
movement
