A GEORGE II MAHOGANY CASED BRACKET CLOCK,
by John Pridham, the eight day duration five pillar movement with verge
escapement and repeating the hours on a bell, the backplate engraved
with scrolls and maker’s name, ‘London’ and ‘No. 113’, the arched
brass dial with silvered brass chapter ring and matted centre, the date
aperture below XII with maker name below, the case with convex bell
top surmounted by a brass handle, raised on ogee bracket feet, c.1735.
