16 A LARGE IRISH GEORGE II SAUCEBOAT, DUBLIN C.1750,

mark ofWilliamTownsend, the plain body with turned-out wavy rim and applied acanthus wrapped‘s’ scroll handle,

crested and raised on three palmette capped hoof feet, (c.342g). 23cm wide over handle and spout.

to Dublin,whilst on the 8th of February London was struck by a Minor earthquake.

17 AN IRISHWILLIAM III TANKARD AND COVER, DUBLIN 1696,

mark of JosephWalker, of plain tapering form with flat hinged lid, raised cast trefoil thumb-piece and scroll handle,

engraved with large armorial, probably Minnit,Tipperary, (c.980g). 19cm high, 19.5cm wide
