William O’ Brien was an Irish nationalist, journalist, agrarian agitator, social revo-

lutionary, politician, party leader, newspaper publisher, author and Member of Parlia-

ment (MP) in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and

Ireland. He was particularly associated with the campaigns for land reform in Ireland

during the late 19th and early 20th centuries as well as his conciliatory approach to

attaining Irish Home Rule.

David Sheehy (1844-1932) was born in

Limerick.He

an Irish nationalist politician.

He was a member of parliament (MP) from 1885 to 1900 and from 1903 to 1918,

taking his seat as a member of the Irish Parliamentary Party in the House of Com-

mons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
