Dublin one with date letter 1812, each

with mark of James Fray, retailed by

“LAW”, engraved “Gin” and “Claret”;

another Irish George III example, Dublin

(no date letter), mark of Benjamin Taitt,

with bright cut banding and engraved

“SHERRY”;

another pair of Irish George III examples,

makers mark triple stuck, probably that

of James Scott of Dublin with stipple

engraved bands and engraved “SHERRY”

and “ PORT”;

two modern Irish examples; an unmarked

lozenge shaped label engraved “IRISH

WHISKY”;

together with two George III examples,

London 1811, mark of “I.B”

each suspended on a chain

BACHELORS COFFEE SET,

Glasgow 1902 & 1919, makers mark of

R&W Sorley, comprising: a coffee pot,

hot water pot and a pair of twin han-

dled sugar bowls, each with scrolling

rims, twelve panelled plain sides, the

pots raised on volute feet, the sugar bowls

raised on trifid feet;

together with a similar helmet form

cream jug, London, with reeded rims and

handle, plain panelled sides and raised on

pedestal foot (c.35ozs all in) (5)
