RECTANGULAR JEWELLERY BOX,

Chester 1899, the hinged lid and body decorated

with putti in clouds and foliate scrollwork, the

rim with stylised gadroon border and with lined

interior. 19.5 x 22cm

A SILVER OBLONG WEDDING BOX,

London 1903, mark of William Comyns, with

pierced hinged lid depicting wedding bells and

a couple leaving a church within a horse-drawn

carriage, with serpentine front decorated with

bands of scrolls (c.4.5ozs). 14.5cm wide, 6.75cm

deep, 3cm high;

together with a Victorian shaped oval silver

jewellery casket, London 1904, mark of William

Comyns, with scroll rim, the hinged lid engraved

with garlands, lined interior, lobed body, raised

on a pierced oval base on shell feet. 17 x 14.5cm

wide, 8.5cm high (2)
