Provenance: with Taylor Galleries, Dublin
Born in Yorkshire, Steven Barraclough trained at Batley School of Arts
and Crafts (1971), Camberwell School of Arts and Craft (1974) and
Slade School of Fine Arts, University of London (1975). He was ap-
pointed Head of the Printmaking Department in Dublin’s National Col-
lege of Art during the 1980s. In 1983 he was able to pursue his interest
in the printmaking techniques of the east when a three-month stay at
the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing was awarded to him by the
Arts Council.
