Birmingham 1946, the bowfront lid with engine turned decoration

and cast rim, with initials W.D, further presentation inscription and

Dublin 1789, mark possibly of Thomas Jones, the conical body

chased and embossed with fruiting vines and foliage surrounding

central cartouche containing the letters “RPV”, above tapering

stem and engraved circular spreading foot, (c.217g). 8.5cm diam-

eter, 16.25cm high
