Signed and dated 1862 lower right

Henshaw was a Birmingham artist who travelled extensively in Germany,

Switzerland, Italy and Ireland. He exhibited landscape views of England, Italy,

Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

Works by Henshaw are held in the Birmingham and Glasgow Art Galleries.
