Edinburgh 1861, comprising teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, each

of panelled baluster form, with c-scroll handles and applied shell and

scrollwork rim, the bodies engraved and supported on scroll and

strapwork feet, c.1524g

3 A VICTORIAN THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE,

London 1858, mark of Thomas Smiley, comprising teapot, sugar bowl

and creamer, of baluster form, with cartouche to each side, surround-

ed by profusely chased and embossed floral and foliate decoration,

the teapot with hinged lid and surmounted with finial in the form of an

eagle, each with acanthus wrapped c-scroll handles, raised on acan-

thus leaf capped scroll feet (c.1461g). Teapot 18.5cm high, 27cm wide

over handle and spout
