the lift top with inner mirror opening to reveal a fitted interior,

complete with silver topped clear glass jars and boxes, hall-

marks for London 1873, the fall front revealing a short drawer

and a jewellery drawer, the silvered locking plate stamped

‘Bramah Patent London’. 30 x 23 x 20cm high

marks, with plain body, serrated rims, scroll handles and

the inkwell, Birmingham 1902, mark of A&J Zimmerman Ltd

and retailed by Asprey London; the stand, London 1902, mark

of Charles Asprey and George Asprey, the dished oval stand

fitted with facet cut ink pot and raised on tapering scroll feet.

c.19cm wide; Together with a collection of six white metal

menu stands in the form of cherubs, each seated and holding

pots, one Birmingham 1900-1, mark of J.R. Ltd.; the other Bir-

mingham 1905-6, mark of William Aitken, each pot with hinged
