PEDESTAL ARCHITECT’S DESK,
c.1830, of rectangular form, the moulded top
with tooled green leather inset, centred with lift-
top panel on ratchet action support, fitted with
three frieze drawers and brass handles over knee-
hole space and twin fielded cupboard doors, on
outset base. 152cm wide, 67cm deep
One pedestal with remnants of cabinet maker’s
trade label “R....Scott, Victoria Street, Paignton,
Winner Street and Torbay Stream”
