BASKET, 18TH CENTURY,
with twin loop side handles, scalloped rims, above pierced lat-
ticework sides interposed with raised flower-head rosettes, the
central reserve finely painted with butterflies, ladybirds and insects
amongst ripe strawberries and fruiting plums, on a skirted oval
foot. Blue painted anchor to the underside. 27.5cm wide over
handles
