AN IMPORTANT HAREWOOD AND MARQUETRY D-SHAPED SIDE TABLE, C.1780,
attributed to William Moore of Dublin, the fan inlaid top centred by a half-patera, crossbanded, with an outer border of
stylised foliage, anthemion and rosettes and with an overall elegant marquetry inlay of ribbon tied and swagged wreaths
and flower heads, above a ribbon-tied swagged frieze interspersed with anthemion and raised on square tapering banded
legs headed by rosewood tablets of paterae, adapted in the 19th Century to a hinged top and an interior compartment with
added ormolu sabot feet. 125cm wide, 55cm deep, 80cm high
