AN IRISH GEORGE III SILVER GOBLET,

Dublin 1792, mark of Michael Homer, with gilt

interior, the body decorated with a large contin-

uous band of embossed foliage and opposing oval

vacant cartouches, raised on a circular spreading

stem with reeded border. 15.5cm high, 9cm diam-

eter; with a later added Victorian cover Dublin

1859, with detached finial in the form of a horse

in full gallop;

together with a pair of plain Irish oval silver dish-

es, Dublin 1973, with panelled sides, raised on

trefid legs. 8 x 6cm wide (c.12ozs all in) (3)

plain handle with lion crest, raised on a stepped
