Born in London in 1904, the daughter of the painter Francis Bedford (1864-1954),
Celia studied at the Chelsea School of Art. She exhibited at the Women’s Interna-
tional Art Club (of which she was a member) and at the New English Art Club, the
London Group and at the Leicester Galleries.
