The intricate incised patterns along the dragon’s body, featuring ruyi-scrolls, comma spirals, triangles, and oth- er forms filled with crisscross designs, set this pendant apart fromother examples of its time. 224 A VERY RARE CARVED JADE DRAGON- FORM PENDANT 戰國白玉龍紋珮 WARRING STATES PERIOD, 300-221 BC The pendant is carved in the form of a single-horned dragon in profile, with a gracefully arched S-shaped body. Both sides feature intricate scrolling patterns finely incised between raised edges.
