hinged lid painted with a rural landscape, the body with scattered

flowers. 7.5cm wide; together with another similar box togeth-

er with a French agate and gilt metal mounted casket, late 19th

century, of rectangular form, with hinged lid and raised on agate

ball feet. 14 x 8cm. (3)

181 A GEORGE IV SILVER-GILT BABY’S RATTLE, WHISTLE & TEETHER,

Birmingham 1830, makers mark of Unite & Hilliard, the

stem chased and embossed with floral decoration, with a series

of bells around the stem, terminating in a coral teether; together

with a small cameo glass scent flask. (2)
