35 AN IRISH GEORGIAN SILVER PEAR SHAPED COFFEE POT,

Dublin c.1780 (no date mark), mark of Alex Barry, the domed

hinged lid with acorn finial, applied with plain ‘s’ scroll handle

and chased beaded and acanthus wrapped spout, the body

with engraved foliate decoration, leafy swags and bearing

crests to either side, one enclosing initials “RE”, raised on

stepped engraved circular foot. (c.28 ozs) 30cm high

36 AN IRISH SILVER THREE-PIECE TEA SERVICE,

Dublin 1908, makers mark of Edmond Johnson, comprising a teapot, two-handled sugar bowl

and cream jug, each decorated to the body and foot with bands of embossed celtic interlacing

scrollwork, the teapot with hinged lid and ebon handle, each piece raised on pedestal foot

(c. 38ozs all in including handle). (3)
