Sheffield 1977, struck with rose and Silver Jubilee

mark, by E.H. Rarkin & Co., with gilt interior, with

applied fleur-de-lys and Iron Cross symbols, raised on

pedestal foot (c. 5ozs). 10.8 cm high.

7 A VICTORIAN SILVER TEA CADDY,

Chester 1896, mark of George Nathan & Ridley Hayes,

of bombe form, the hinged lid decorated with acanthus

leaves and floral swags, repeated again to the body, en-

graved with initials and dated ‘1872-1897,’ raised on shell

capped and paw feet (c. 8ozs). 15cm high.

9 A GEORGIAN REVIVAL BRIGHT CUT SILVER

TEAPOT,

Birmingham 1923, of octagonal form, with hinged

cover and ebonised finial, decorated with bright cut

bands and vacant shield-shaped reserve (c.12.5ozs).
