Central Persia c. 1930, the deep crimson rectangular field woven with scrolling foliate
decoration, enclosing a navy, cream and blue floral designed medallion, this central field
contained within a broad border of interlinked anthemion designs, swags, and scrolling
foliage, finely knotted, good condition. 320cm wide
Provenance: Sourced by Peter Linden for an Irish Collector c.1980, where it has been well pre-
served to the present day
