by gadroon banding and demi fluted base, engraved “Silver

the stepped and domed pull-off cover with central palmette
wrapped finial, decorated with continuous bands of tongue-and-
dart banding the body with, central ribbed girdle, twin acanthus
leaf wrapped ‘s’ scroll handles, raised on pedestal foot, with con-
forming banding (c.53.5ozs). 31cm high, 28cm wide over handles,
with an ebonised socle.
