An Irish George II silver snuffer tray,
Dublin c.1746, maker’s mark unidentifiable, of shaped rectangular
outline, the lugged corners with reeded rims enclosing scrolling
scallop shells decorated centre, with central ‘c’ handle terminating
with a human head thumb-piece, raised on four bun feet, crested
(c.7.5ozs). 17.7cm

A SILVER PLATED TEA CADDY,
the domed hinged lid with ivory finial, the shaped body with cen-
tral fluting, raised on four ball feet. 16cm high, 14.5cm wide;
together with a large pierced oval silver plated serving tray, beaded
rims, leaf wrapped side handles, pierced sides enclosing engraved
continuous bands of arabesques and central fleur-de-lis and scroll
cartouche, raised on pierced scroll feet. 72cm wide, 47cm deep (2)
