London 1902, 1903, 1904, mark of Sorley ‘Silversmiths to
H.M. The King, Glasgow’ comprising a kettle, burner on
stand, teapot, coffee pot; twin handled sugar bowl, cream
jug and a large oval tray with gadrooned rims and pieced
gallery sides; the teapot of oval form with pierced gallery
top, domed hinged lid, the plain bulbous body between
gadroon borders engraved with initials and with applied
‘c’ scroll handle. (The tea-set c.97ozs including handles
and finials; the tray over 100ozs). The kettle on stand 32cm
high, 27cm wide over spout; the tray 61.5cm wide over
handles, 39cm deep, 9cm high
