A GEORGE III SILVER TOASTED CHEESE DISH
WITH HINGED COVER AND WOOD HANDLE,
London 1810, makers mark ‘WS’ possibly that of William
Stevenson, the rectangular body with gadrooned rim, the
domed cover with urn shaped finial, detachable turned
wood side handle, fitted with a retaining chain, and a
liner above the hot water compartment, with contempo-
rary crests and coat of arms (c.51.5ozs all in). 24cm wide
