TABERNACLE OVERMANTLE MIRROR,
the domed top with carved scallop shell above an inset auricu-
lar frame now filled with an oil painted copy on canvas of “The
Misers” after Quentin Massys (1466-1529), flanked by fluted
pilasters and egg and dart banding and rosettes, the scroll form
base with central rectangular mirror panel, the entire 162cm
wide, 183cm high
Provenance: Purchased from Russellstown Park, Duckett Estate, Carlow
by the present owners family in 1950’s
