A RARE IRISH GEORGE I SILVER GILT CRUET
STAND,
Dublin 1723, mark probably that of Thomas Walker, fitted with twin
18th century cut glass vinaigrette bottles, with silver-gilt tops (appar-
ently unmarked), contained within twin circular pierced retainers
with half-baluster supports, applied ‘c’ scroll handle and raised on
squashed ball feet (c.12ozs, scratch weight “15=7”). The stand 16cm
wide, 10cm deep, 6.5cm high

A VICTORIAN RENAISSANCE REVIVAL SILVER TANKARD,
Birmingham 1861, of cylindrical and baluster form, the flat lobed hinged lid above
a profusely chased body with repousse over medallions, leaf scrolls, etc., the com-
pressed baluster base raised on a spreading foot, having a C-scroll handle.

the gilt metal mounted stylised dolphin finial
above shaped sides and bands of applied pal-
mettes, the base with sunburst leaves and central
rosette, and raised on leaf wrapped out-curved
