It depicts a standing boy holding a vase and standing on a Qilin or Chinese unicorn with a ball standing four squares on an oval base with a waived apron. It is finely detailed with engravings, e.g. on the dog mane and tail. Its rim is underlined by a frieze of pearls as well as a frieze of skulls. It is combined with a lid with a dome-shaped central part topped by a vajra. The lid is finely chiseled with a foliate pattern. The attendant is depicted standing, wearing a robe crossed on the front of his chest and knotted at the waist. He has a round plain face and two hair-buns. His hand might have originally held an attribute such as a holy water vase (now missing). Affixed to an old and parcel reticulated stand. Amitayus is depicted seated in padmasana on a base with two bands of lotus. His hands are joined in dhyana mudra, he wears loose robes, as elongated earlobes and his head is topped by a hair bun known as ushnisha. The base is sealed with a plaque centered by an Atermisia leaf.
