Born in Dublin Quigley’s family travelled extensively before they settled again in Dublin in
1906.She attended the Central School of Arts and Crafts, London and the Metropolitan
School of Art Dublin with her sister Ethel. She exhibited with the Arts and Crafts Society
of Ireland and the Royal Hibernian Academy.
She emigrated to South Africa in 1934 where she practised as a stained glass artist in
Johannesburg for twenty-five years making over 100 windows there for the city and other
parts of the world.
