Samuel Riley (Reilly), Goldsmith, Silversmith and Jeweller of Dublin, he began
business in Cork in 1777, marrying Nancy Smith of Cork in June 1779; Daunt’s
Bridge, Grand Parade 1781, 1787, 1795; Lamb Square 1809-10; retired from
business in Spring 1809; a son Samuel died 1810 in Jamaica; daughter Elizabeth
married Frederick Buck, the miniaturist, 9th February 1796. (Bowen and O’Brien,
