fitted case with powder flask, brass bullet mould, turnscrew

and cleaning rod, the inside lid bearing an original trade label

‘Deane Adams & Deane, King William Street, London Bridge’;

outside lid with label

‘Col Honble. B. M. Ward’.

Bernard Matthew Ward born 1831 was the fourth son of the Third

Viscount Bangor of Castleward. He was Colonel of the Suffolk

Regiment, served in the Crimea and retired as a Lieutenant

General.
