Brocquy plates and maps, LIMITED FIRST EDITION,
1750 copies, in illustrated card sleeve. This is the
first edition which rapidly sold out and within one
year became a standard Oxford University paper-
back in a lithographic reprint. This is considered the
most successful and most famous Dolmen Press
title.

association with the University of Pennsylvania Press. This
is the only edition, other than the first edition, with the full
suite of illustrations which was unavailable until this library
edition was issued in 1985 - other editions only had 30 of
the illustrations and the bulk of this edition was distributed
to libraries worldwide and was never reprinted; together
with two other Táin books comprising a FIRST EDITION by
Ciaran Carson, Penguin Classics and a Chinese edition. (3)
