A VICTORIAN silver CLARET JUG
RACING TROPHY CUP,
London 1857, mark of Charles Thomas Fox &
George Fox, of compressed baluster form, the flared
neck with crossed oak leaf sprays and large c-scroll
handle, the body decorated with a cartouche within
which depicts a horse racing vignette of two horses
with jockeys and stand in the background within
leaf scrolls and chased acanthus collar rail on cir-
cular board leaf base (c.42ozs). 40cm tall
