A VICTORIAN SILVER NAVETTE SHAPED DISH,

London 1888, mark of William Comyns, with waved, scrolling rims, pierced lattice and

ribbon tied swag sides, plain oval base, raised on a pierced scrollwork base. 22.5cm wide,

16cm deep, 9.5cm high; together with a set of three similarly decorated circular bon-bon

dishes, London 1894, mark of William Comyns. 13cm diameter, 4cm high (c.24.5ozs in

AN OVAL SILVER JEWELLERY BOX,

London 1905, mark of William Comyns, the hinged cover with raised panel top depicting

a wedding scene, enclosed by raised foliate swags, fitted interior, plain body, raised on

leaf cast legs. 14 x 17cm wide, 7.5cm high;

together with a shaped circular silver powder jar, London 1904, mark of William

Comyns, with wedding scene to the pull-off cover, plain lobed body (c.7ozs). 12.5cm

diameter, 7cm high;

a small oval cufflink box, London 1904, mark of William Comyns, with embossed water

lilies to the hinged cover, fitted interior. 7.5cm x 10cm wide, 5cm high;

together with a matched pair of ring trays, London marks, William Comyns, of rectan-

gular form with canted corners, panelled raised sides, the bases with pairs of love birds

amongst scrolls and acanthus leaves, centred by gargoyle masks and vacant cartouches.
