AN IRISH SILVER PIERCED BOWL AND COVER,
Dublin 1898, mark of West, of broad circular form, the pierced cover surmounted by an
eagle finial and embossed stags, birds and hounds against opposing scrolls and flower
heads and cartouches, crested, the base fitted with clear glass liner and decorated in
conforming manner raised on stylised dolphin feet (c.37ozs). 23cm diameter, 21cm high
