A map of Ireland and the British Isles with part of Germany and France.

This very rare map depicting Ireland by Waldssemuller as printed circa 1535. Note the
mythical island of Brazil included off the west coast. Waldseemuller was the first person to
name America on a chart in honour of Amerigo Vespucci, later he regretted the decision
and changes it to unknown lands, however 1000 copies had been printed and the rest
is history.
