Carolyn Mulholland was born in Lurgan,
Co Armagh in 1944, and studied at the
Belfast College of Art from 1962 to 1966,
winning the Ulster Arts Club prize for
Sculpture in 1965, and commissioned for a
panel in St MacNissi Church in Magher-
ahoney in 1966. Since then, she has com-
pleted many major sculptural commissions
