The principal old cushion-shaped diamond, weighing approximately 4.30cts,

within collet-set similarly-cut diamond “petals”, interspersed with old

brilliant-cut diamonds,

mounted in silver and gold, remaining diamonds approximately

3.60cts total, diameter 3.2cm

A STAR SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BROOCH

The oval cabochon star sapphire, within an overlapping openwork surround of

rose-cut diamonds, in closed-back settings,

mounted in silver on gold, length 3cm,

in fitted case

€3,600 - 4,600

Accompanied by a report from GCS stating that the sapphire weighing 26.97cts

is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heating. Report number 5775-

2711, dated 31st July 2015.
