A Burmese ruby and diamond ring,

composed of a cushion-cut ruby to a surround of round brilliant-cut diamonds within a platinum

setting, ruby 2.60 carat total, diamonds approx. 1.20 carat total, ring size N/O

Accompanied by a SSEF certificate stating that the origin of this ruby is Burma and there is no

indications of heat treatment, dated 26th September 2014, numbered 76678

A ruby from Burma is famous for its exceptional colouring, and has traditionally produced the

finest Rubies. The most preferred colour is a deep blood red with a slightly bluish hue. Burmese

Ruby rarely exceeds several carats. A fine Burmese Ruby can command more than an equally fine

diamond od equal carat weight. The allure of these rare gems have enthralled collectors and admir-
