Scottish born Henry Robertson Craig studied at the Dundee College of Art before travelling extensively throughout
Europe and painting scenes in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland and Spain. During the Second World War
Craig joined the British Army designing camouflage and working on maps. He exhibited at the Ritchie Hendriks
Gallery and at the RHA, and was elected a full member of the Academy in 1955.
