The Church of St. Trophime in Arles is an important pilgrimage site being the starting point of Via Tolosana to San-
tiago de Compostela. Since 1981 it is a UNESCO World heritage site. The cloister at the church was constructed in
the second half of the 12th Century/first half of the 13th century for the use of the canons . The cloister is famous
for the fine carving on the columns.
