13 Country House Collections|18 th & 19 th October 2021 Adam’s 3D virtual view allows you to see the lots, in situ, without stepping outside your door. Sim- ply go to www.adams.ie , find the upcoming sale and click into the virtual viewing portal, ‘Explore 3D Space’. You will then find yourself at Townley Hall, surrounded by a sale of the finest antiques. To move around, just position your mouse to where you wish to go and click. You will be transport- ed through the room in this manner, moving each time to the closest stand point, indicated by a translucent grey circle. If you see something that piques your interest and want to know more, click on the blue and white circle that hovers next to it. This will open up the lot’s description and estimate but, if you’re still not satisfied, click on the writing and you will be brought through to the full listing on our website, complete with additional images. If you have a My Adam’s account, you can even leave a bid or request a condition report directly from this page. As you 'walk' around, feel free to zoom in on the objects, as you would on any other screen page, either by rolling the mouse button or pinching the screen. This will allow you to really appreciated the finer details of each lot. Find yourself admiring a picture but want to know its dimensions including the frame? No prob- lem, with the 3-D view, you can gather an approximate measurement yourself. Just click on the ruler icon to the bottom of the viewing screen. Place the mouse over where you want to start your measurement, click and then drag the mouse to the end point before clicking again. The computer will then let you know the distance in between each point. When finished, press the escape button. The bottom menu bar also lets you easily jump between floors and change rooms by selecting where you want to go. There is even an option to link up a VR headset, so as you can really experience Townley Hall as it is intended.
