123 Country House Collections|18 th & 19 th October 2021 437 AN IRISH CARVED GILTWOOD MIRROR, c.1740, with scrolled pierced shoulders, filled by an eagle, pierced floral pendant sides and with flat-carved shell scrolled apron. 130cm high, 180cm wide The somewhat eccentric design of the mirror with accentuated shoulders, flower pendant sides and flat carved apron is absolutely unique to Irish mir- rors.
